Simple energy-saving vacuum pumps, GEMP series

With the CIL series, COVAL introduces a new range of “just-plug-it-in” vacuum modules. The in-line CIL vacuum modules are mounted directly in the compressed air network, very close to the suction cup, without needing any additional fixing. Result: Gripping time is reduced while eliminating energy loss. With the “just-plug-it-in” connection and its optimal performance, the CIL module guarantees a reduction in assembly time as well as in installation and use costs.

Simple energy-saving vacuum pumps, GEMP series

Description

The GEMP series vacuum pumps are the simplest in the energy-saving range. They automatically regulate the supply pressure to an optimum pressure of 4 bar, thanks to an integrated pressure regulator, whatever the pressure in the compressed air network, and this without penalizing other applications which require more than 4 bar. GEMP pumps therefore reduce both energy consumption and the noise level.

They are available in:

  • 5 flow rates (essential for evacuation time) characterized by the nozzle diameter (1.2 to 3mm)
  • 2 different vacuum levels:
    • Version 60% vacuum for porous products.
    • Version 90% vacuum for airtight products.
  • For the same nozzle diameter, the suction flow rate increases proportionally to the decrease in the maximum vacuum level. As well as using with suction cups, they can also be used for applications such as dosing liquid, spraying and tank depressurization.

Options

Vacuum switch:
On the GEMP series modular vacuum pumps, a vacuum switch option can be added in order to visualize the vacuum level during the gripping process.
