The high suction flow vacuum generators are particularly adapted to applications involving porous and lightweight products. They offer a high suction flow, attaining an optimal vacuum level necessary for handling and transferring porous and lightweight objects. e.g.: powder, granules, carpet, foam etc.

  • Gripping very porous and lightweight products: foam, carpet, cakes, leather
  • Transport of powdery materials: powder, granules
  • Transporting small, lightweight objects: paper clips, rice, coffee
  • Smoke evacuation, depressurizing chambers, etc.

Functioning principle

Thanks to the COANDA effect (wall effect), the motor flux draws in air at room temperature. This physical phenomenon greatly amplifies the flow which results in very high suction produced with low consumption.

Special

  • Stainless steel versions are available on request
  • The five products present the best amplification ratio (consumption/suction flow). Coval can study smaller amplification ratios (higher consumption) but higher maximum vacuum for transporting heavy objects.

Operating requirements

Compressed air filtration at 5 microns for the M6C model and 20 microns for the other models.

Description

LEMAX is a new mini vacuum pump integrating technologies developed by COVAL for better productivity, efficiency and energy savings. It has a wide range of applications: packaging, robotics, plastics.

For the first time LEMAX integrates technology known as ASC (Air Saving Control). It generates energy savings of between 60% and 97%, depending on the products to be handled. The ASC activates to limit energy consumption at two levels:

  • Integrated vacuum regulation: reduction of energy consumption and noise level.
  • The ASC analyses the application and adapts itself to the airtight or porous pieces in order to optimize operation and energy consumption.

The advantages of LEMAX:

  • Unequalled compactness: fixed very close to the suction cups for short response times.

A Coval innovation, the GEM series vacuum pumps integrate TWINTECH™ technology. GEM series pumps provide an “all-in-one” solution by integrating all the necessary functions, such as pressure regulator, electro pilots, valves, vacuum switch, silencers in a single compact module. The M12 connector radically simplifies installation and use.

The GEM series pumps are available in:

  • 2 vacuum levels: 60% and 90%
  • 5 nozzle diameters (1,2 ; 1,5 ; 2,0 ; 2,5 et 3,0 mm).

  • Vacuum controlled by a NO solenoid pilot

Traditional single or multi-stage vacuum pump must be equipped with additional peripheral modules necessary for it to function: solenoid-pilots, valve and electronic circuit, supply pressure regulator; vacuum switch, which penalize the size, weight, connections and the overall cost of the vacuum system. The COVAL TWINTECH allows integration of all these functions into a single compact lightweight module. The installation is radically simplified: no more peripheral components to be selected, ordered or installed. An immediate connection to circuits is possible thanks to the M12 connection. Optimal exploitation and minimal consumption of compressed air.
